Nili Yelin is a professional storyteller known as The Storybook Mom™. She has been performing stories for ages 0-100 for twenty years and has won numerous awards.
After graduating Northwestern University with a degree in Theatre and Communications, Nili worked at MTV and Saturday Night Live for a decade. Her stand-up comedy career led her back to Chicago, and motherhood led her to create The Storybook Mom™.
Nili performed and hosted for The Printers Row LitFest for 15 years as well as weekly Storytimes all over Chicagoland. Her clients include The Field Museum, Gilda’s Club and Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Nili currently resides in NYC and her clients in 2020 include Nordstrom, Lincoln Center and The Tisch Foundation.
She is working on her first picture book series and is an official Book Fairy for NYC with Bookfairies Worldwide.
